Hepha Mountain 8 Ultra – 29” hardtail electric mountain bike

The Hepha Mountain 8 Ultra is a 29” hardtail electric mountain bike for trails, gravel roads, and varied off-road routes. Its key features include a powerful 120 Nm Hepha P120 mid-drive motor, a large 800 Wh battery, a 100 mm SR Suntour air fork, and an 11-speed Shimano CUES drivetrain. Maxxis Rekon 29 x 2.35” tires and Shimano MT420 brakes complete the off-road-oriented package.

120 Nm Hepha P120 and 800 Wh battery

The Hepha P120 mid-drive motor has a maximum torque of 120 Nm, providing plenty of assistance on steep climbs and more demanding off-road sections. The motor has a nominal power of 250 W, and the electric assistance operates up to 25 km/h.

The Hepha BT-800C battery has a capacity of 800 Wh. The large battery capacity provides a great starting point for long trail rides and routes where elevation changes and extensive use of assistance increase energy consumption. However, the actual operating range always depends on factors such as the assistance level, terrain, temperature, and the rider's weight.

The battery is charged using the Hepha EC-P100B Ultra Fast charger, which has a charging current of 6 A. Ride data is displayed on the 1.96-inch Hepha SC-201 color display.

100 mm air fork and 29” Maxxis Rekon tires

The front features an SR Suntour 4-BOOST AIR LOR DS air fork with 100 mm of travel. The front suspension absorbs impacts caused by roots, rocks, and other irregularities, while the hardtail aluminum frame keeps the structure straightforward.

The 29-inch wheels are equipped with wide 2.35” Maxxis Rekon off-road tires. The large tire size helps with progress on uneven surfaces and overcoming obstacles on the trail. The wide, knobby tires provide grip on gravel and trails.

The Mountain 8 Ultra is well suited for riding where routes vary between forest trails and gravel roads, and can also handle sections on harder surfaces.

Shimano CUES 11-speed drivetrain with a wide gear range

The 11-speed Shimano CUES drivetrain uses an RD-U6000 rear derailleur and a CS-LG400-11 cassette. The cassette's 11–50-tooth gear range offers easy gearing for steep climbs as well as suitable options for faster sections.

The drivetrain also includes a Shimano CN-LG500 chain and 165 mm Istos cranks. The short cranks provide more ground clearance than longer cranks, which is beneficial on rocky and root-filled trails.

Braking is handled by Shimano BR-MT420 hydraulic disc brakes at the front and rear. They allow for controlled modulation of braking force in off-road conditions, where speed must be adjusted quickly as the surface and grip change.

Off-road-style cockpit

The Mountain 8 Ultra cockpit features a 760 mm wide Istos Sport handlebar and a 50 mm long Istos stem. The combination of a wide handlebar and short stem supports control of the bike in corners and on uneven trails.

BICYCLE HOME DELIVERY – €39/bike

• The bike is delivered to your front door fully assembled and adjusted, almost ready to ride. You only need to straighten the handlebars and attach the pedals.
• Delivery time: bikes in stock are usually dispatched within 3–4 business days. The delivery time for bikes to order generally varies between approximately 1–4 weeks.

FREE IN-STORE PICKUP

• Pick up your order from our store at Hyllilänkuja 7, 33730 Tampere.
• Bikes picked up from the store are handed over fully ready to ride.

DELIVERY OF ACCESSORIES, SPARE PARTS AND EQUIPMENT

• Delivery via Posti or Matkahuolto. Delivery costs vary from €3.90–€7.90 depending on the size and weight of the shipment. The price is shown at checkout before payment.
• Orders placed before 12:00 noon are often dispatched the same day. The product typically arrives about a week after dispatch.
• Accessories ordered with the bike and installed on it are delivered without an additional delivery fee. If you wish, you can add accessory installation to your order.
• Note: not all parts (e.g. pedals or large baskets) can be pre-installed on a bike delivered to your home, as they will not fit in the shipping box.
