Hepha Mountain 8 Performance SUV – 29” Hardtail Electric Mountain Bike

The Hepha Mountain 8 Performance SUV is a 29” electric mountain bike that combines off-road capabilities with comprehensive everyday features. The 120 Nm Hepha P120 mid-drive motor, large 800 Wh battery, 100 mm SR Suntour front fork, and Shimano CUES 10-speed drivetrain make the bike a versatile option for gravel roads and forest trails as well as commutes and everyday riding. The SUV equipment includes an MIK HD luggage rack, mudguards, a kickstand, and a 110 lux front light.

Hepha P120 offers 120 Nm of torque

The Hepha P120 mid-drive motor has a maximum torque of 120 Nm, providing plenty of assistance on steep climbs and more demanding routes. The motor has a nominal power of 250 W, and the electric assistance operates up to 25 km/h.

The Performance SUV model uses an 800 Wh Hepha BT-800C battery. The large battery capacity provides a good starting point for long rides and routes where elevation changes or extensive use of assistance increase energy consumption. The actual operating range is influenced by factors such as the assistance level, terrain, temperature, and the rider's and load's weight.

The included Hepha EC-P100B Ultra Fast charger provides a charging current of 6 A. The electrical system's riding data can be monitored on the 1.96-inch Hepha SC-201 color display.

100 mm suspension fork and 29” Maxxis Rekon tires

The front features a 100 mm travel SR Suntour 4-Boost LO DS fork. The suspension absorbs impacts from uneven surfaces on gravel roads, forest trails, and poorly maintained roads. The hardtail design simultaneously keeps the overall setup simpler than full-suspension All Mountain models.

The 29-inch wheels are equipped with wide 2.35” Maxxis Rekon off-road tires. The large tire size helps with traction on uneven surfaces and overcoming obstacles on trails, while the wide off-road tire provides grip on gravel and trails.

The Mountain 8 Performance SUV is particularly suitable for use where routes vary between asphalt and cycle paths, as well as gravel roads and lighter off-road terrain.

Shimano CUES 10-speed drivetrain and hydraulic disc brakes

The 10-speed Shimano CUES drivetrain uses an RD-U6000 rear derailleur and a CS-LG400-10 rear cassette. The 11–48-tooth gear range offers light ratios for climbs and suitable options for faster riding on flat sections.

The drivetrain is complemented by a Shimano CN-LG500 chain and 165 mm Istos cranks. The short cranks provide more ground clearance for the pedals, which is beneficial on uneven trails.

Braking is handled by Shimano BR-MT410 hydraulic disc brakes. The cockpit features a 760 mm wide Istos Sport handlebar and a 50 mm long stem, which create an off-road-like riding position and support the bike's handling on varied surfaces.

SUV equipment for commutes and trips

The strength of the Mountain 8 Performance SUV is the combination of off-road features with practical equipment. The Istos luggage rack features an MIK HD mounting system and is designed to be compatible with a child seat. The luggage rack makes it easier to use panniers, baskets, and other compatible cargo solutions.

The aluminum 29” SUV mudguards protect against splashes on wet commutes and gravel roads. The kickstand makes parking more practical, and the 110 lux Istos front light provides illumination for riding in the dark.

The Hepha Mountain 8 Performance SUV is suitable for riders who are not looking for an electric bike exclusively for off-road or exclusively for the city. The 120 Nm motor, 800 Wh battery, 100 mm front suspension, and 29 x 2.35” off-road tires enable riding on varied routes, while the luggage rack, mudguards, kickstand, and powerful front light make the bike ready for everyday utility riding as well.

BICYCLE HOME DELIVERY – €39/bike

• The bike is delivered to your front door fully assembled and adjusted, almost ready to ride. You only need to straighten the handlebars and attach the pedals.
• Delivery time: bikes in stock are usually dispatched within 3–4 business days. The delivery time for bikes to order generally varies between approximately 1–4 weeks.

FREE IN-STORE PICKUP

• Pick up your order from our store at Hyllilänkuja 7, 33730 Tampere.
• Bikes picked up from the store are handed over fully ready to ride.

DELIVERY OF ACCESSORIES, SPARE PARTS AND EQUIPMENT

• Delivery via Posti or Matkahuolto. Delivery costs vary from €3.90–€7.90 depending on the size and weight of the shipment. The price is shown at checkout before payment.
• Orders placed before 12:00 noon are often dispatched the same day. The product typically arrives about a week after dispatch.
• Accessories ordered with the bike and installed on it are delivered without an additional delivery fee. If you wish, you can add accessory installation to your order.
• Note: not all parts (e.g. pedals or large baskets) can be pre-installed on a bike delivered to your home, as they will not fit in the shipping box.
