PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Ravager is a gravel tire for riders ready to take on aggressive terrain with only their drop bars and a little rubber beneath them. While other tires are designed to take you to the end of the road, Ravager opens up new routes, campsites and epic adventures where there has never been a road.

The raised center knobs with squared edges provide climbing and braking traction on moon-dust-covered trails, while the oversized cornering knobs keep you and your gear out of the dirt as you conquer a new turn.

SPECIFICATIONS

Rubber compounds

Single and Dual Compound: Off-road tires without the 3C marking use a Dual Compound, while road tires use a Single Compound. Both Single- and Dual-Compound tires are durable and reliable for versatile, all-purpose use. They are slightly more affordable, and their somewhat harder rubber compound also handles winter frosts without issue.

3CS, or MAXXSPEED: A rubber compound used mainly in fast XC race tires, designed to roll as efficiently as possible.

3CT, or MAXXTERRA: Thanks to their harder center knobs, 3CT tires can also be made to roll well and offer relatively good wear resistance. This makes them well suited to versatile trail riding in both dry and wet conditions.

3CG, or MAXXGRIP: The grippiest and softest of Maxxis’s triple compounds. Compared with other 3C tires, it has a considerably thicker layer of soft, tacky rubber on the outer surface of the knobs. Designed for racing in wet and slippery conditions. When nothing else grips, MaxxGrip does.

Protection level

Silkworm: A puncture-protection strip made of lightweight, durable material beneath the tire tread.

EXO: Basic cut protection used on the sidewalls of off-road tires. The durable EXO protection strip is integrated beneath the rubber compound and protects the tire sidewalls from abrasion and minor rock impacts.

EXO+ is a more robust protection level that combines Silkshield puncture protection around the entire tire with EXO sidewall protection. EXO+ is suitable, for example, for aggressive trail riding as well as lighter riding on e-mountain bikes.

DoubleDown, or DD: Puncture and cut protection suitable for demanding enduro, bike park and e-bike use. Tires with DD protection have a casing made of two overlapping layers of 120 TPI nylon fabric, with durable butyl inserts integrated to protect the sidewalls.

DH-Casing, or 60DW: Thanks to their durability, mountain bike tires with DH-Casing are also well suited to long-travel e-bikes and bike park use.

Thread density

60 TPI: Tires with fewer nylon fibers in the casing, but more rubber. This gives them inherent protection against cuts and punctures and makes the casing slightly sturdier.

120 TPI: Tires with a dense nylon weave in the casing. Often lightweight and supple tires, for example for racing.

TR: A tubeless-ready tire that can also be installed without issue with a traditional inner tube.

NOTE! The soft outer layers of 3C tires harden in cold weather. This negatively affects tire grip and performance and may also cause surface cracks to form in the tread. For riding in cold weather and winter, we recommend Dual Compound tires made from a harder material.

HOME DELIVERY FOR BICYCLES – €39/bike

• The bike is delivered to your front door fully assembled and adjusted, almost ready to ride. You only need to straighten the handlebars and attach the pedals.
• Delivery time: Bikes in stock are usually dispatched within 3–4 business days. The delivery time for bikes that need to be ordered generally varies between approximately 1–4 weeks.

FREE IN-STORE PICKUP

• Pick up your order from our store at Hyllilänkuja 7, 33730 Tampere.
• Bikes picked up from the store are handed over fully ready to ride.

DELIVERY OF ACCESSORIES, SPARE PARTS AND EQUIPMENT

• Delivery via Posti or Matkahuolto. Delivery costs range from €3.90 to €7.90 depending on the size and weight of the shipment. The price is shown at checkout before payment.
• Orders placed before 12:00 noon are often dispatched the same day. The product typically arrives about a week after dispatch.
• Accessories ordered with the bike and installed on it are delivered without an additional delivery charge. If you wish, you can add accessory installation to your order.
• Note: Not all parts (e.g. pedals or large baskets) can be pre-installed on a bike delivered to your home, as they will not fit in the shipping box.
